It comes and goes, right? The feeling of excitement of what you would do when you realize you were the winner. Jump up and down and scream with excitement and sharing with everyone around, including any strangers within your range? What you will spend all that money on? Do you dream of images of the things you would do that you aren't doing now?
Or are you one of those types that goes into shock? I think I'm one of those. I believe that I have a tendency to be more introverted on my wins. Most of us do that a lot when we lose. We don't want to share any of our losses with each other. But hey, when we win, we want to share it from the highest mountain. The voices of my grandmother and mother haunt me. "You must be humble. You mustn't make a big deal about things, because what comes today, is gone tomorrow."
Does that equate when it isn't the big lottery, but just a small win. Like finding a one dollar bill on the parking lot pavement. Do you just pick it up and put it in your pocket, or do you look around immediately for the person who lost it? Think about it. Those actions are easily forgotten, the thought and the action.
I know I have done both. If no one is around and I find that dollar, I smile really really big and pocket that bill. And then later, I forget how that dollar got into my pocket, because I forgot about this little insufficient win. Then I hear those voices again, "You have received, now it's time to give it back". I do that more now than I ever have before. It takes a BIG loss to gain that perspective. I know. I lost my love, I lost my identity, I have felt that my family deserted me, left me on my own, but then I started to gain all of that back, gradually. That is a big win. Realizing that you really never lost anything, and that you have more and more to receive.
So now, I'm going to do something that I'm not used to doing. Let me be clear, I'm trying to market my remarkable luck. That luck of having received an opportunity to co-create this book. The Energy of Receiving is book two of a series being published by Happy Publishing CEO, Erica Glessing. I am blessed, and I am receiving this opportunity with open arms. So join with me, and buy this book (support Yours Truly), and glean from it the magic of how to get your energy into Receiving mode. I did...and apparently this happened! All of the "co-creators" in this book have a story to say. How to get to the point of receiving. We all must be ready to say YES. You never know. That dollar you picked up and bought the winning lottery ticket may have been a turning point in your life.
Hugs to all of you....now I'm contemplating writing about The Energy of Healing.
Namaste,
Lori
