It has taught me much in this first year of my book being published. I do know that several things I could count on, and then there were the mystery surprises....so this list is my intention for the year 2013.
- Good and old friends fade away into the shadows. They are still learning about their path, of which I have made successful strides on my own. I will let them go.
- Family isn't always going to support you, especially if you write about them. I will let that go.
- Family is always opening their arms and supporting you. My doubt is what holds me back. I will let that go.
- When friends find out that I have written a book, they don't buy it, because they think I'm going to give them one for free. I will let that go.
- And to those friends who did buy my book to support me, and didn't read it, "because they haven't had enough time", or it's on "a pile of books to read". I will let that go.
- When I try to clear out old memories and get rid of an object, I get the words whispered by my child "you're getting rid of memories!" I will let that go.
- This new year I will lighten my load. I will get rid of the "memories" or possessions I no longer need. I don't have to own them, and if someone else can enjoy them now, why not let them go?
- This will be another spiritual year of gain for me. I will follow the spiritual readings of Abraham-Hicks, Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, and Don Miguel Ruiz. I will keep my eyes ready for anything new that is written. I will keep my heart open.
- I am going to travel some more, this I promise myself.
- I will continue with my healthy habits of vegetables.
- I will have patience with my room mate.
- I will exercise more often, but I will not berate myself if I don't.
- I will give more of myself to service with full intention and purpose.
- I might make another $100.00 in royalties from the sale of my book. If I get more, I will celebrate this.
- I will continue my writing, for pleasure and for amusement.
- I will meditate.
- I will be grateful.
- I will appreciate.
- I will love others, I will love myself
